We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Kings Dyke team in the position of Electrician.

To provide a high standard electrical engineering service to the site, including the maintenance of plant, machinery and services to a safe, reliable and compliant standard, so as to support the achievement of site goals and objectives.

Required to work as part of a small combined production and maintenance team on a 4 on 4 off Days/Night shift pattern shift. The role will require 100% commitment to a zero-tolerance safety culture, incorporating the Golden Rules and LOTOTO principles.

**Your duties would include but not limited to the following;**
- As part of a small team you will need to work on your own initiative taking decisions as the need arises this will include mechanical repairs.
- You will need a working knowledge of PLC and SCADA operations, their programming and fault diagnosis
- Use OEE, Pirana CMMS systems as primary source of engineering recording, work scheduling and RCA analytics.
- Standard modern control systems will be used through out the plant including inverters, most types of sensors (analogue and digital), and safety devices
- A good understanding of motors their control systems and interfaces, gearboxes, clutches couplings etc will be vital
- To achieve this you will be required to attend training in some specialist areas, this may involve staying away for short periods
- Carry out electrical duties in compliance with current legislation
- Ensuring that a safe standard of housekeeping is maintained at all times
- Carry out periodic inspections according to current legislation
- Compliance with all Health Safety and Environmental Regulations
- To advise the appropriate manager immediately of any electrical defects
- Ensure that PPE issued, is kept and maintained in good condition
- Other duties as delegated by management

**About you**;
- Previous experience of working as part of a team
- Experience of working in a factory would be advantageous
- Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

**Education & Qualification;**
- City & Guilds - Part 1 & 2 - Electrical Installation Work
- City & Guilds - Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment
- NVQ L3 in Electrical Engineering
- HNC in Electrical Engineering or Time served Electrician
