Overview:
PowerToolsGB is an independent, fast growing business located in Trinity Business Park, Wakefield. THIS ROLE IS BASED IN OUR WAREHOUSE, NOT SUITABLE FOR REMOTE WORKING.

DO NOT APPLY IF:

- You cannot work onsite in Wakefield

- You are not physically capable of lifting stock/merchandise
- You cannot work alternate Saturday Mornings - this is an essential requirement
- You need lots of supervision or to be told what to do next to fulfil your job
- You only want to work in sales - this is mainly an e-commerce and warehouse vacancy, you may not be selling direct to customers

We are a small but highly motivated team, where everyone is expected to be flexible and willing to work under a certain level of pressure.

Positive attitude and good sense of humour are absolutely essential. MUST BE SELF MOTIVATED AND CAPABLE OF SELF MANAGING. You will be expected to get on with tasks unsupervised and prioritise accordingly.

**Responsibilities**:

- Adding & optimising products on the new stock control system
- Working with the sales team to create marketing campaigns and promotion ideas
- Improving website technical SEO, updating meta information on pages and products
- Work with external companies and agencies such as our Website Agency & Suppliers to ensure the website product data is accurate and compelling.
- Supporting the wider team by helping with general IT/technical jobs
- Must be physically capable of moving stock within warehouse as this is an integral part of the role.
- Admin tasks will be part of the role as and when required.
- Answering the phone and advising customers

Everyone is expected to chip-in where necessary, so the role is not limited to just e-commerce. The entire team need to be flexible and willing to jump-in and help wherever necessary at any time.

Essential Requirements
- POSITIVITY AND ENTHUSIASM A ‘can-do’ attitude is ABSOLUTLEY essential. Attitude trumps experience every time.
- General level of IT competency - you need to be comfortable on computers and IT systems. You need to be comfortable working on websites and using web-tools. You don’t need to have experience with every system or tool that we use, but you need to be competent and willing to figure them out and learn.
- A sense of humour
- Common sense
- An interest in digital/ecommerce trends and a passion for improving user experience
- Ability to collaborate across departments, or with outside agencies
- Driving licence - you may be required to drive a company vehicle occasionally.
- Must be able to work alternate Saturday Mornings 8am
- 12pm
- Willing to learn about the stock and its uses to advise customers

You do not have to have experience with any specific system, but instead need to be the kind of person who can research and figure things out. You do not need to be a ‘coder’ or web-developer, but you need to be comfortable jumping into our website & IT systems and learning as you go. Enthusiasm, attitude, and a willingness to learn are paramount, and are far more important than experience on any particular system.

- Must be capable of working out how do to something on our IT system or ensure you obtain advice from third party technical support (training will be given but you must be capable of self managing)

Desirable (but not essential)
- Magento 2 experience
- Profit4 experience
- CRM experience
- Understanding of construction/powertools
- Previous e-commerce experience
- Book keeping experience or knowledge (to support existing staff with the accounts procedures of Profit4)

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
