**Human Resources Advisor**

Castlefield Recruitment are working in partnership with an NHS organisation based in London that requires an experienced Human Resources Advisor for a minimum three month assignment commencing in November.

**Key responsibilities will include;**
- To deputise for the Senior Human Resources Business Partner as required
- To provide advice and recommendations to managers on employment legislation and contractual issues as appropriate
- To act as the People Services representative at formal investigation meetings and hearings, including arranging the meetings (disciplinary hearings, change management processes, capability hearings etc)
- To work with the HRBPs to review and analyse key performance indicators (workforce information, attendance/ absence, ER cases, appraisal, vacancy, bank usage and turnover) to support programmes designed to improve performance
- To ensure that employee relations information is updated on the Employee Relations Case Tracker and ESR at all times
- On receipt of monthly DBS report ensure staff required to have three yearly rechecks are checked and ESR updated. To escalate to the appropriate manager if necessary
- On receipt of monthly right to work report ensure upcoming expiries are checked to ensure all staff have the appropriate right to work status and documentation and ESR updated. Trackers to be updated and to escalate to the appropriate manager if necessary.
- To work with the Resourcing Team to ensure high quality recruitment processes are delivered for Clinical Services.

**Key experience and skills will include;**
- HR/ER experience
- Low level employee relations casework (e.g. attendance, performance, disciplinary)
- Considerable experience of working with Electronic Staff Systems
- Degree level qualification or equivalent
- High organisational & administration skills - prioritising, meeting deadlines, setting standards
- Self directed - ability to manage own workload and work under pressure
- Ability to interpret policy, employment law and provide an HR service to managers
- Basic Report writing skill
- Understanding of the role of HR in an NHS Trust
- Knowledge and understanding of the importance of equal opportunities in relation to human resources activity generally
