Draughtsman / Estimator

**Draughtsman/Estimator**

Permanent office-based

Working hours; 45 hours/week

£18.00/hr or £35-42k

Our client are actively seeking permanent self-motivated and experienced personnel to join their progressive team to help achieve the successful delivery of an expanding order book.
- Fully conversant in AutoCAD
- Have an in-depth knowledge of the metal fabrication industry, including:
Structural Steelwork - Architectural Metalwork - Sheet metalwork - Pipework.
- Experienced in Excel and other Microsoft Office products
- Able to produce take-offs, obtain prices from suppliers, calculate costs, produce estimates and submit quotations to clients.
- Willing to undertake site visits to carry out surveys.
- Able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Health & Safety and hold a valid CSCS card.
- Aware of the requirements of Quality procedures.
- Be able to project manage smaller jobs in their entirety.
- Hold a clean full driving licence

Alternatively, the position may suit somebody looking to step down from a more senior role in the industry.
