**About the Role**

**Base Location**: Reading, Cardiff and Perth

**Salary**: £33,945 - £39,463 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

**Working Pattern**: 6 month Fixed Term Contract or Secondment | Full Time | Flexible First options available

**What is the Role?**

The purpose of the UAT Coordinator is to manage the approach to UAT when undertaken as part of the CPR Programme and to provide support to the business experts involved in the process. The UAT Coordinator contributes to the plan that ensures the availability and effectiveness of the test assets allowing this key phase of the programme to progress as smoothly as possible. The UAT Coordinator will ensure optimum coverage of functional requirements of the programme while ensuring that the interests of, and impact to, the business operation are respected.
- Taking ownership of the UAT phase and quick fixes, progressing them to successful completion.
- Planning and estimating time and resource utilisation requirements to conduct UAT.
- Contribute to project go/no go decisions in respect of the progress of UAT and stability of the system.
- Identify and raise risks and issues which may impact the ability to conduct UAT within agreed tolerances.
- Measure the effectiveness of the UAT approach, implementing improvements where appropriate.

**What do I need?**

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Previous UAT experience within an IT programme/project environment.
- Understanding of project management and lifecycles, including knowledge of phase and gate review processes.
- Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
- Organised approach with the ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills - will challenge the business and strive to agree best practice.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues and risks, with problem solving and action planning skills.
