The Farmhouse is a beautiful 4 star rated, country house with 27 bedrooms located in the countryside in North Hertfordshire between Hitchin and Stevenage.

We are looking for an efficient, fast-paced, detail oriented individual to help us with the daily tasks at our hotel. The Porter will be responsible for helping us move and load or unload materials throughout our building. Your duties will include helping to maintain cleanliness in the hotel, providing security and ensuring that all deliveries arrive on time.

PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION REQUIRES MANUAL LIFTING.

Duties to include:

- Cleaning and maintaining our public hotel areas and wedding & events venue
- Moving hotel linen
- Reporting maintenance to the appropriate departments
- Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
- Setting up weddings & conferences - moving tables, chairs, setting up stationery and A/V equipment
- Assisting housekeeping team

(Please note this position does include weekend work.)

**Salary**: £9.60-£9.75 per hour
