**LTI Adviser**

**Based primarily at Oxstalls campus in Gloucester, but with an expectation that you may be asked to work on any campus (in Gloucester or Cheltenham) **as workloads and staffing require.**

**Fractional posts totaling 0.8fte are available. Hours to be worked between Mon and Fri, 9.00-17.00**

The University has converged Library and IT Teams to create a Library, Technology and Information Service (LTI). The service is an important enabler for the University’s Strategic Plan, bringing together the curation and delivery of the information resources to students in support of the University’s ambition to enable our students to reach their full potential; and to offer teaching and learning of the highest quality.

We are looking for customer-focused and enthusiastic individuals to join our Customer Services team as LTI Adviser/s. We have a total of 0.8fte available and are open to filling this as a number of fractional posts.

LTI Adviser posts are based at the IT and Library desks within campus libraries. The post holder/s will be required to work collaboratively with a wide variety of colleagues to provide seamless first-line responses for all Library, Technology and Information Service based enquiries, supporting students, staff and library members with the use of, and access to digital information resources, print based media and study space. Excellent customer service, team working, interpersonal, administrative and IT skills are essential.

Advisers use a variety of IT systems, including the University’s online enquiry management system (Sunrise) to log, escalate and resolve enquiries as appropriate in addition to taking responsibility for a range of administrative functions and physical activities such as shelving and tidying print media.

Previous experience in a library role/HE environment would be desirable.
