A food manufacturing business has partnered with the NET Recruit team, to aid them in their search for a Technical Manager to join their team located in the Greater Chichester area. As a Technical Manager, this role will prove crucial in its end to end process, ensuring that the entire production process as a whole is efficient and more than meets the expected standards by both the company and its customers. The person in this positionwill take responsibility for liaising with clients on their queries, monitoring the quality of the product lines, ensuring that procedures meet expectations and supporting the wider team to deliver the best service possible. It is a highly important and dynamicrole for a hands-on individual, ready to take action and have a real impact on the company's output.
Your Role and Responsibilities
While in this position your duties may include but will not be limited to:

- Supporting the Site Technical Manager, and maintaining and reviewing the quality and safety management systems
- Ensuring that high standards and product safety are maintained throughout the whole production cycle for inception to dispatch
- Acting as the point of contact for internal and external parties on technical matters
- When possible, identifying new opportunities for innovation and product development, staying on top of customer demands and needs
- Making sure that policies, procedures and HACCP documentation is all up to date and updated as required
- Having responsibility for ensuring the product meets customer requirements
- Supporting the relationship with customers on key accounts
- Handling & leading, when necessary, site and customer compliance audits
