Accounts Assistant

**Role: Accounts Assistant**
**Location: Cookstown**
**Salary: Negotiable**
**Hours: Part time or full time hours available**
CSR are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded retailer in the Cooskstown area.
**Responsibilities**:
- Reconcile purchase invoices and attach relevant paperwork
- Update and maintain purchase/projects ledgers to include statement reconcilation
- Prepare bank deposits
- Maintain sales ledger, including issuing sales invoices and end of month statements
- Have experience in VAT returns, EC Sales, preparing bank reconciliation for the purpose of payments & credit control
- Updating stationary/health & safety equipment supplies
- General office duties
**Requirements & Skills**:
- Good knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
- Good maths skills and ability to spot numerical errors
- Hands-on experience with Word, MS Excel and Sage accounting software
- Organisational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills Salary commensurate with experience
