2fawcett are recruiting for a motivated and experienced Buyer to join our client a manufacturing company specializing in the design, production, and installation. With a strong reputation for excellence and innovation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, design, and sales, to determine procurement needs and requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service criteria.
- Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, terms, and conditions to ensure favorable pricing and terms for the company.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, prices, and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve supplier relationships.
- Manage the procurement process from requisition to receipt, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as necessary.
- Proactively identify and address supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and emerging technologies in the signage manufacturing industry.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

**Requirements**:

- years of experience as a Buyer or in a procurement role, preferably within the design/ manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and achieving cost savings.
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, market trends, and sourcing strategies.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Proficient in using procurement software and systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Understanding of relevant regulations, compliance standards, and ethical sourcing practices.
