Welder/fabricator

Jigsaw Fitness designs and manufactures innovative fitness equipment from our Lancashire HQ. Our trade customers include some of the leading British gym equipment brands and our direct customers include top health club chains.

Hours: Mon-Fri (8.30 - 5.30)

Location: 88 Ralph’s Wife’s Lane, Banks, PR9

**Salary**: Negotiable on Experience

**Responsibilities**:

- Working as part of our production team on a variety of welding tasks to manufacture our gym equipment.
- Following engineering drawings from our product design team.
- Checking parts received and ensuring accuracy throughout the fabrication process.
- Inspecting and testing welds to ensure strength and durability.
- Working with the product design team and assembly line operatives to deliver the finished product on time and to a high standard.
- Safely operating tools, machinery and welding equipment on a daily basis.
- Maintaining an organised workspace and managing a varied, fast-paced workload.
- Supporting in other areas of the equipment production line as required.

**Skills & Requirements**:

- Previous workshop experience (**Essential**)
- Experience with MIG Welding **(Essential)**:

- Experience with TIG Welding **(Desirable)**:

- Sheet metalwork experience (mild steel specifically) **(Essential)**:

- Proactive and responsible approach to health and safety **(Essential)**:

- Good communication skills **(Essential)**:

- Able to work consistently through the day **(Essential)**:

- Must be able to work as part of a team and individually **(Essential)**:
