An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Emergency Care Centre Administration Team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Gateshead, housed within a state-of-the-art building which was purpose built in 2015. The ECC has brought cutting edge healthcare to Gateshead, where we pride ourselves on innovative ways of providing emergency care to patients.

As an ECC Receptionist (Bank) you will be working in a challenging but rewarding role working as the first point of contact for patients coming in to the A&E department. You will be providing front line reception and ward clerk duties, answering and dealing with telephone queries whilst greeting patients and visitors to the service.

A variety of shifts are available including days, evenings and nights over 7 days a week including bank holidays. All training will be provided on the job.
