**Lecturer in ESOL**

**Permanent, Part Time 29.6 hours per week, 52 weeks per year**

**Salary: £27,347 - £38,101 per annum, pro rata (Dependant on skills, qualifications & experience) (Academic Grade 4-13)**

**About the role**

We are expanding our ESOL provision and have variable hours opportunities to teach English to speakers of other languages at the Chippenham campus.

As a Lecturer in ESOL, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding teaching, learning and assessment of ESOL. Classes vary from Entry level to Level 2 for adults (19+) and our 16-19 cohort.

You will prepare schemes of work and lesson plans and be required to mark student work and regularly assess students who are working to improve their English skills and may also be working towards recognised qualifications in Reading, Writing and Speaking & Listening.

To enable students to maximise their potential, you will ensure our resource materials and teaching reflect best practice contributing to the quality of provision as measured by retention, attendance, success rates, progression, final grades, and value added.

**About you**

Do you have experience in teaching ESOL?

Do you hold a CELTA/DELTA qualification?

Are you a qualified teacher or willing to work towards a teaching qualification?
