This is a key member of the Digital Operations & Development Team, helping to shape the future of our digital business. Through UX/UI design, the role drive optimisations to the Lakeland.co.uk user experience. Prioritise, coordinate and undertake digital UX design in support of day to day operational improvements and the digital development roadmap.

This post holder will be responsible for the UX on Lakeland.co.uk, both the optimisation of current user experience and new UX development. You will prioritise and perform UX activities to improve the customer experience and ultimately drive the commercial performance of the website.- About You

You'll have significant experience of working across both graphical and technical website design, preferably B2C and ideally in a multichannel business with a significant online business.

You can demonstrate operational excellence of championing, leading and supporting change in a dynamic business. You have a good understanding of website design, construction and management (including hosting, client-side/server-side dev)

You'll have an advanced knowledge and experience using design software e.g. Photoshop, InDesign, video editing app's. Be proficient in wireframing, comfortable producing concept sketches and user flows.

You have an excellent understanding of user behaviour and the principles of good user centred design and are familiar with HTML, DSS, JS and other front end technology. You have experience with digital analytics tools e.g. Google Analytics 360, Adobe Analytics and session recording software. You also have 3rd party supplier management experience. You have good computer literacy - Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint and ideally comfortable working in both Windows & Mac environments.

With a high level of attention to detail, you have an analytical mind-set and an approach based on data and logic. You are creative, whilst being logical and practical, with the ability to judge which creative decisions are likely to add value and boost customer engagement and commercial response.

You have excellent project management skills and experience coordinating multiple resources and concurrent packages of work. You are an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, as this role is a pivot point between a large number of internal and external parties.

You are a strong self-starter; solution oriented with a can-do attitude.

You can build and nurture positive relationships with key stakeholders across the business, influencing collaborating and positively disrupting to deliver a step change in performance. Importantly you are a team player, able to collaborate with others whilst positively challenging and welcoming feedback to drive self-improvement.- About Lakeland
