**We are currently recruiting for a Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join the team in a mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Brent.**

**You will play a fundamental role in helping them develop their personalities and minds by exposing them to ideas and experiences that will help them gain a solid grounding in the world.**
- **This role pays £80 - £95 per day PAYE (depending on qualifications and experience)**_

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide support to students one-to-one and also in small groups
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies

**Expectations**:

- Previous experience working with children
- Knowledge of tutoring and mentoring techniques
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children
