Our roles are all Monday-Friday where you’ll be based in one school after a successful trial day. You must be available to work 08:30 - 15:30 on a long-term basis. We can offer fixed-term, temp-to-perm or permanent contracts. Ideally, you will be able to start immediately or after the Easter half-term in April 2024.

In a typical day, you may assist students in accessing the curriculum by adapting materials, providing one-on-one support during lessons, and implementing strategies to promote independence and skill development. You might also collaborate with teachers and therapists to implement specialised learning plans, facilitate inclusive activities, and support students in developing social and communication skills.
- **Resilience**: Supporting vulnerable children requires resilience, particularly when faced with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
- **Communication**: Effective communication with students is vital, as is teamwork to ensure important information is relayed to other staff.
- **Organisation**: Strong organisational skills are essential to support class teachers and students with educational activities.
- **Caring**: These students require the best care possible, making compassion and caring traits highly valued.
- **Attentiveness**: Every task is unique, requiring attentiveness to understand and identify areas where support is needed.
