Our client school are recruiting for a Year 5 Teacher with excellent knowledge of the KS2 curriculum to begin after the February half term. The role is full time and will run until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will have an importantrole in shaping the futures of the students and a strong influence in their final years of Primary school. **About the school**

This Church of England school was recently graded 'good' in a recent Ofsted inspection and was commended for the calm and purposeful atmosphere across the school, where children thrive due to feeling safe and happy. The school has strong Christian valuesof Peace, Love and Respect which reflect the nature of the school. The staff at the school encourage all children to be the best that they can be and are extremely proud of the wonderful pupils who are caring, polite and well behaved. They have a consistentapproach to behaviour management throughout the school which is applied equally to all pupils. The school has an above average percentage of children achieving above the national standard in Reading and Mathematics.

- Be able to differentiate and adapt learning for different needs within the classroom
- Use formative and summative assessment to fill in gaps in learning and ensure progression throughout the year
- Create a warm, safe and supportive environment where children feel secure and happy
- Work collaboratively with parallel teachers and support staff to promote good outcomes for children
- Actively be involved in the wider life of the school, engaging in extra-curricular clubs, events and school trips

**To be successful in this Year 5 Teacher role you must**:

- Hold Qualified Teacher Status in the UK
- Recent experience in USK2 is desirable
- Provide a CV covering full employment history covering any gaps
- Provide professional references to support teaching experience
