**Job Title**:SHE Leader Construction Safety and Process Safety

**Location**:Port Sunlight Factories

**JOB PURPOSE**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure all projects are delivered in line with the Unilever construction safety standards and local requirements such as CDM etc.
- Ensure all safety standards and procedures are understood and followed in all areas. This will involve training (toolbox talks etc) and the use of auditing tools/processes.
- Complete regular safety conversations and DCA’s following up on actions to ensure robust close out.
- Lead risk assessments with the wider team to ensure all activities are undertaken with the correct mitigations in place.
- Lead or support in safety investigations ensuring all learnings are cascaded correctly to the site teams.
- Review key safety project documentation such as risk assessments method statement and permits to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Hold all personnel (Unilever and contractors) accountable to following the correct safety standards and policies across the site.
- Collate and drive Contractor KPI’s holding the relevant Contractors responsible for improvement activity to meet all agreed targets.
- Working closely with the process safety authorised person onsite ensure the site compliance to the Unilever process safety standards across all make/process areas.
- Be an active part of the Safety pillar onsite driving improvement across all areas.

The individual will be responsible for driving forward environmental KPI’s and engaging the company in the environmental agenda.

- NEBOSH Diploma
- Skills and qualifications desirable in the below topics:

- Process safety management
- COMAH
- Environmental

**Experience Required**:

- (Please detail essential and desirable experience, including no. of years.)_

**Essential**:

- High level of understanding of construction safety regulations.
- Experience of being the safety lead on large scale projects.
- Experience of reviewing work permits, method statements and risk assessments in a detailed manner.
- Experience of managing safety programs in a process environment.
- Experience of process safety management.

**Areas of relevant experience**:

- Environmental compliance.
- Leading safety initiatives on a manufacturing site.
