**Job Title**:EDM Commercial Administrator (remote support to Middle East team)

**Location**:Cheltenham, Gloucestershire (hybrid working)

**Role Overview**:
You will provide sales and administrative support to our Middle East team, distributors, and overseas contacts. This includes handling incoming enquiries, commercial matters and processing/progressing orders in a proactive manner.

You will be based in the UK and be part of a remote team in the Middle East, reporting into the Middle East Sales Support manager working closely with our Export and Supply Chain departments.

You will take responsibility of Middle East orders that need to be processed via the UK due to embargos and other political and territorial challenges. You will be actively responsible for helping achieve the department’s order entry, invoice sales and customer service targets and will sit within the UK Export department.

**Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on**:

- To ensure that all orders received are interpreted correctly and entered onto the “E1” system accurately within 24 hours for standard and within 1 week for non-standard items (assuming middle east send all necessary documents).
- To verify orders, monitor their progress, and expedite where necessary, liaising with the Shipping Department, Product Units, and any other departments as necessary.
- To actively manage all commercial aspects of an agreed set of key accounts and provide back up as necessary for other accounts within the team.
- To maintain an “open order book” schedule and provide details to relevant parties using a proactive approach to expediting customer orders.
- To assist with the preparation and action of standard part set ups for order processing
- To handle incoming correspondence and provide simple quotations within CRM to clients as required, including lead time requests and logístical quotes and queries.
- To assist with the provision of statistics and any additional tasks as necessary. To raise and co-ordinate both Commercial and Warranty returns managing these through to a satisfactory resolution.
- To deliver a high level of customer service and actively support our OTTR Measure seeking out any improvements that can be made.
- Ad-Hoc pre-package inspection to check for physical quality defects of products.

Enjoy autonomy and being able to work on own initiative because your direct line manager will be based in the Middle East. You will be process driven, have excellent communication and organisational skills, and have good IT skills and comfortable learning new systems and processes.
