Energetic Pa Required for Autistic Adult in S4

This gentleman loves to walk and loves public transport. he loves to visit animals and go to the cinema. He needs a proactive PA who can help him to plan his day out and keep him safe whilst he does what he enjoys. The role will mainly be community based, but there will be some support in the home to support the gentleman to get up, dressed and ready for the day
**Essential** **Calm and able to use your own initiative**
Willing to learn from the young man, their family and friends and existing PA's. **Be friendly, reliable, and honest; and maintain confidentiality.** Be respectful in the family-home. **Be comfortable with long walks.** Be creative and confident in your personal approach to involving the young person in new opportunities. **Have a genuine desire to enhance the young person’s life and boost their self confidence.** Be physically capable of carrying out tasks described. **A good sense of humour.**
**Desirable**. **An understanding of the nature of this type of support work.** You may have interests, hobbies and skills you could share with the young man
**Hours**
This will be one day a week **ideally a Monday**, but could be a Tuesday for the right person.
**10.5 hours term time** (7.30am - 6pm) and **7 hours** during the school holidays (more flexibility in the school holidays)
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 7-10.5 per week
**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
