**Pay Rate: £8.91**

**Contract: Temporary with the potential to be made permanent**

**Working Hours: Variable shift rota - 08:00 - 16:00 - 37.5 hours per week**

Atalian Servest is currently recruiting for a Hygiene Steward to join our passionate and driven team in Peterlee

**Your primary responsibilities will include**:

- Regular sanitising of high traffic touch points.
- The cleaning of all areas of the building including office space, communal areas, stairwells, kitchens and washrooms (plus other ad hoc areas) and ensuring areas are cleaned to the required standards and standards are maintained at all times.
- You will be required to complete all training as required to deliver your role. BiCs License to Practise training may be provided to support you in effectively delivering your role.
- Deep cleaning of areas as required, full training will be provided to support.
- Desks including IT equipment to be cleaned throughout the day.
- COVID Cleaning of desks and large areas.
- You will come into regular contact with our client so you must be able to assist them when required, we also ask you must be able to complete all Health and Safety training as required. The use of chemicals will be a key part of your working day, full PPEis provided.
- This is a very active role and includes a very high amount of walking around a large site.

**About You**:

- Previous experience as a cleaning operative preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Experience in COSHH and manual handling is beneficial.
- BPSS and right to work checks required.
