Driver Hire London West is looking for a
**Relief Van Driver **to work for one of our clients based in Acton. They are an international multi-service provider suppling food manufacturing workwear, collecting used items and delivering laundered garments.

This is a
**PERMANENT**
***full-time position with an immediate start (ideally before the end of the week)
- Monday to Friday
- 40 hours per week/ Flexible working hours
- £13.42 per hour

Your responsibilities as a Relief Driver will be to cover sicknesses, emergencies, last minute deliveries and busy periods. You work will involve conducting daily vehicle checks and delivering & collecting laundered garments (non-hazardous), têxtiles & sanitary waste to supermarkets. You will be sometimes required to service the premises - replacing air fresheners, emptying the bags, exchanging mats, roller towels, etc.

**The role will suit ambitious hard-working team player with the following characteristics**:

- Enthusiastic can-do-attitude
- Reliable & responsible
- **A full UK driving licence** with no more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsements such as: CD, IN, DR, DD, TT99
- Fully checkable 5 years work history
- Comfortable to go though a DBS check (clean record)
- Willing to potentially upgrade to lorry licence in their apprenticeship programme during normal employment
