The Supply Planning Coordinator - New Launches, manages the successful delivery of new product launches on time, to agreed cost and in collaboration with cross functional departments. The role provides visibility to all involved stakeholders both internally and externally and coordinates with the Supply Planning Coordinator - Replenishment on supplier capacities and lead-times.
- Communicates and reports weekly status of new launches to cross-functional teams and highlights any concerns early on to mitigate risks and find creative solutions
- Share launch production schedule with QC for timely and efficient processing
- Works closely with PM and Merchandising to ensure launch volumes and size breakdowns are correct
- Liaises internally with the SP Coordinator - Replenishment on capacity constraints and fulfilment needs and externally align on capacity and launch planning with the suppliers
- Close contact and relationship with suppliers regarding production schedule & shipments
- Places NPD volumes on POs/SAP in line with the above
- Ensures component planning for diamonds and all other components are on track and ensure arrival of components is complete ahead of production start in line with planning
- KPIs: OT (on time) launch measurement/ CP (critical path) impact on production/delivery
- Owns end-to-end NPD SP (Supply planning) process
- Good understanding of internal and external constraints and how these impact the launch date
- Reviewing and improving the process on regular basis to keep with the VUCA environment
- Assigns new launch diamonds to FGs and works with Diamond Sourcing for shipments to FG suppliers
- Manages order book management, data accuracy both on SAP and on supplier order book files
- Liaises with Finance on queries supporting the SP Administration
- Develops, grows, and guides direct report - SP Administrator
- Follows up on booking in goods/invoicing with the support of the SP Administrator

**Qualifications
- Qualifications and Experience**
- Degree educated, preferred degree in Supply Chain Management or Business
- Min 2 years’ experience in Sourcing/ Production/ Supply Chain Planning

**Mental Processing Ability**
- Understands own role in relation to the team and how it contributes
- Ability to coordinate with internal stakeholders to achieve objectives

**Knowledge & Technical Skills**
- Time management: Prioritise, structure work & effectively manage time
- Awareness of the diamond/luxury jewellery industry bonus
- Experience working with SAP
- Excel intermediate
- Fluent written and spoken English

**Social Process Skills**
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals
- Build strong, personal, and effective working relationships
- Work self-sufficiently with great attention to detail
