**Chief Executive Officer - Rotherham - £65,000 - £75,000**We are delighted to be working in partnership with Target Housing on a retained basis. This is an exciting time for the business as they look to recruit a new CEO due to retirement. As the CEO you will be directly responsible for all aspects of the operationsand personnel of Target Housing Ltd. The CEO will also be accountable to the Board of Directors & Trustees for the efficient and effective running of the organisation and development of the organisations scope of activities. Target Housing is a charity, registeredsocial landlord and company limited by guarantee. They provide accommodation and support to vulnerable and homeless people who have difficulties sustaining a tenancy this includes people with complex needs. As the CEO you will need to have substantial experiencebuilding long term relationships with people while developing the business strategy to grow, diversify and secure the future of the organisation with a clear vision and mission.

**Chief Executive Officer Responsibilities**:
- Develop the business strategy to grow, diversify and secure the future of the organisation with a clear vision and mission.
- Agree a business plan with the Board of Directors and identify short, medium and long-term objectives for the organisation.
- Maintain a breadth and depth of knowledge of the sector in order to be able to direct an appropriate response to opportunities or risks.
- Advice to Board on strategic implications of political, economic and legislative changes.
- Be the face of the Target Housing, publicly positioning the charity to be in optimal position to win new contracts and secure opportunities.
- Oversee the preparation of financial budgets, ratifying and subsequently maintaining control over, expenditure, financially safeguarding the organisation.
- Identify key threats and risks to the organisation and arrange suitable management of projects to mitigate such risks.
**Required Skills & Experience**:
- Leadership - engaging the commitment of trustees, managers and staff to the organisation’s success.
- Understanding financial management and planning, to the level required to manage finance staff and ensure the business runs within its budget.
- Experience and understanding of the Social Housing field, and the social, financial and policy dimensions that affect the work of providers in the field.
- Customer focus - excellent service for customers as primary purpose of the organisation.
Business development - clear thinking about the organisation’s working environment and future, and the ability to spot and develop appropriate new business opportunities.
