Brokk Operator

We are currently looking for BROKK OPERATORS

As a Brokk Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining Brokk machines, which are remote-controlled demolition machines used in various construction and demolition projects. Your primary role will be to safely and efficiently operate the Brokk machine to perform demolition tasks, such as breaking down concrete structures, removing debris, and clearing construction sites.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate the Brokk machine using remote control systems to perform demolition tasks according to project requirements.
- Conduct pre-operational inspections and routine maintenance on the Brokk machine to ensure its safe and efficient operation.
- Collaborate with the project team to determine the scope of work and prioritize tasks based on project timelines.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot any technical issues with the Brokk machine, making minor repairs when necessary or reporting larger maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental guidelines, and company policies while operating the Brokk machine.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of debris and waste materials.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other construction professionals to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth project execution.
- Keep accurate records of machine usage, maintenance activities, and any incidents or accidents that occur during operations.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience operating Brokk or similar remote-controlled demolition machines is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of construction and demolition safety protocols.
- Ability to interpret and follow project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Physical stamina and agility to work in demanding conditions, including confined spaces and heights.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites as required.
- Must have a VALID CSCS CARD
- All qualifications for operating Brokk machinery are ESSENTIAL.

**Salary**: £150.00-£170.00 per day
