**Assistant Director of Golf**

The Assistant Golf Professional (“AGP”) position at Hogs Head Golf Club (“HOG”) is a wonderful opportunity to serve at one of the top private, resort golf clubs in the world. HHGC is seeking a dynamic and innovative Assistant Director of Golf who will partner with our Director of Golf to provide the finest overall golf experience. You will be a visible leader of this department with an ownership approach and understanding that full member, guest and staff engagement is critical to success in this position. The AGP will consistently provide superior golf experiences for the Club’s membership and guests. This position will work closely with and report directly to the Director of
Golf. A most critical relationship will be with the Caddie Master, Outside Operations and Concierge
Teams, ensuring collaborative and harmonious relationships between front and back of house operations. The AGP MUST possess the service gene and DNA with sincere and genuine desire to provide the ultimate experience for all HHGC Members and Guests.

**JOB DESCRIPTION AND PRIMARY EXPECTATIONS**
- In tandem with the Director of Golf, continue to refine and implement a golf operation culture aligned to the Club’s membership, national presence, and brand.
- Grow golf operation talent through a deliberate staff development program designed to enhance the team’s execution capability; and leadership skills commensurate with the delivery of relaxed high
- touch point hospitality.
- Deliver an exceptional Member and Guest experience through steady process improvement focused on exemplary service and relaxed, yet focused hospitality.
- Supervision of Caddie Master and Outside Services Staff, ensuring that they are following and meeting their job expectations. Provide continuing outside service training and development.
- Direct involvement and assistance with merchandising process (Order through receiving), display and cleanliness of golf shop on a daily basis.
- Follow department budget and maintain an accurate accounting of payroll, Member and Guest charges, and daily reports.
- Utilize Golf Genius tournament software to perform essential tournament operations.
- Responsible for enforcing golf course policies and procedures including the pace of play, dress code, number of players, etc.
- Attend all required training programs.
- Comply with all Company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Know proper procedures for emergencies.
- Comply with Company grooming and uniform standards.
- Off season duties may include U.S. travel and activity planning, support, and implementation of events to continue engagement with our Members and Guests.

**INITIAL PRIORITIES OF THE ASSISTANT GOLF PROFESSIONAL**

The following priorities have been identified as recommended primary focus:

- Develop consistent operating standards and training programs.
- Observe, listen, ask questions, and learn about the culture and heritage of Hogs Head Golf Club and the surrounding community from our Director of Golf and other members of the staff.
- Create and sustain forward thinking, innovative, and exceptional service standards.
- Provide Platinum-level services with a personality that is commensurately appropriate for the Hogs

Head Golf Club culture.

**PRIMARY CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS**
- PGA or LPGA Member with two plus years’ experience working in either the private club sector or at a luxury resort preferred.
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills, the ability to work in a fast past environment and multitask while at the same time delivering the highest level of customer service.
- Proficient computer skills with experience using Jonas, Golf Genius, Microsoft Word/Publisher, and

Excel.
