The South West England and Wales Cluster seeks an enthusiastic, dynamic and creative Cluster Marketing Executive to be accountable for supporting the integrated strategies designed to position its hotels competitively with a strong focus on demand generation, brand-strong guest experiences and creative engagement that drives loyalty.

The position reports directly into the Cluster Marketing Manager. This role will be expected to be a strong team player within the wider Cluster Team, the hotel teams within the Cluster and the UK & Ireland Area Marketing Team.

**Objective**:
The Cluster Marketing Executive will be accountable for supporting the execution of the Cluster marketing activity, including managing our implementing our social media strategy, executing advertising campaigns and promotions, and supporting local pull through of assets and activation packs, for above
- and on-property marketing.

**Professional attributes, skills & experience**:

- Experience in a devoted hotel marketing role or relevant marketing experience.
- Experience in leisure marketing
- Excellent command of the English language - both written & spoken
- A good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- A natural and proven ability with social media, especially Facebook,LinkedIn and Instagram
- Good communication and presentational skills.

**SPECIFIC DUTIES**

- Work with the Cluster team and Hotel Sales Leaders to support with the development and execution of a Cluster marketing plan to support the business objectives of the Cluster, including promotions, branding, media campaigns, partnership activity and individual property support
- Responsible for ensuring the local activation and pull through of all centrally developed marketing initiatives for transient leisure, meetings, events, fitness, and food and beverage at a Cluster and local property level including implementing digital and physical activation items
- To curate compelling content (copy, assets, rich media) that supports Hotel Brand and Positioning, Outlet and Local Area
- Develop engaging social media content and strategy and support all hotels in growing platform awareness and evolving social media strategy
- Enhance social listening and keep up with latest trends and developments on digital platforms
- Use in house systems and work closely with creative agencies to create on brand collateral and assets
- Play a supporting role during property photo shoots, including ensuring brand photographic guidelines are adhered to, guidance on use of the photography playbook, and photography audits
- Responsible for providing marketing support for properties undergoing renovation including managing marketing critical path and pre, during and post communications plans
- Support the Cluster Director of Sales and Cluster Marketing Manager with regular hotel marketing audits and action outcomes
