Driffield, United Kingdom East Riding of Yorkshire Council Full time

**The job itself**:
Are you looking for a part time role, which fits around your lifestyle where you can utilise your experience providing care for children? If so, our Play Worker role could be the perfect opportunity for you.

We have an opportunity for someone to join our team at Lockington Primary as a Play Worker, to support children at our before and after school clubs. Play Workers are an important part of our team to help shape the children in our community by planning and delivering a range of activities for them before and after school. Reporting to the Admin Officer and Headteacher, Play Workers can, on average, support up fifteen children every day. Tasks can include duties such as:

- Day to day running of the clubs
- Providing safe and creative play opportunities for a range of age groups
- Preparing activities, organising programmes and themes which are inclusive to all children
- Arranging equipment for planned activities and overseeing meal times
- Liaising with parents and carers

As a healthy work-life balance is important to us, we’re flexible and happy to consider job shares with the possibility of working only mornings, afternoons or both. Lockington C.E. Primary School is a small, rural church school located between Beverley and Driffield with a good Ofsted rating. We welcome visits to the school to meet our team and check out our positive working culture.

If you have the right values and skills, we want to hear from you.
