Job Description:

- Compliance Monitoring & Testing Specialist
- Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 a year
- Crewe, Cheshire
- Likewize is searching for a Compliance Monitoring & Testing Specialist to join our team at our European Hub in Crewe, Cheshire.
- In this role, you will be responsible for an independent testing plan to ensure compliance with applicable policies/procedures, global laws/regulations, and industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC etc.). As a member of the 2nd line controls testing team, you will collaborate with other 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line teams to monitor and test processes and control environments, report results, and evaluate compliance with Cyber Security requirements and regulations.
- Your day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Design and execute risk-based testing plans.
- Execute independent control monitoring & testing activities and documenting results according to test plans.
- Identify process, control issues, and compose clear and concise analysis to document shortcomings.
- Clearly communicate, escalate, and report material compliance risks, test findings, issues, and/or trends with key stakeholders.
- If you are who we are looking for, you will have the following education, skills, and/or experience:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information technology, information security, cybersecurity, or information systems.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience (internal/external audit, operational risk/compliance testing, quality assurance/quality control) developing and executing compliance tests against SOC.
- 2+ years of experience performing or participating in SOC 2 examinations.
- 2+ years working with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
- Familiarity with Privacy (US, Canada, EU, Australia) regulations.
- Practical knowledge of Insurance Laws (US, Canada, EU, Australia)
- Understanding of the NIST CSF.
- Experience working with and auditing against ISO 27001
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with AWS cloud technology.
- Additional Certifications: CRISC, CISM, or CISSP.
