This is an amazing opportunity to join a world class creative team within a mega award winning full service agency based in Edinburgh. We’re looking for a middleweight Copywriter to work on an array of creative projects.

In a nutshell, we’re looking for an experienced copywriter who has a strong portfolio, a creative passion, proven conceptual skills who can turn their hand to long and short copy across a variety of formats (digital, direct, advertising including TV). We’re looking for a copywriter to join the beating heart of this world class agency in creative. You’ll bring a brain bursting with big ideas, a sharp turn of phrase, and a fire in your belly.

You’ll be working with a team of talented creatives in a variety of media. Our client is looking for someone who has a flair for creating bold concepts, the confidence to sell them, and the skills to bring them to life with beautifully crafted copy. Someone who can work closely and collaboratively with a talented Art Director.

That means you must be skilled in both long and short forms of copy, across a variety of marketing formats - from snappy one-liners and attention-grabbing headlines to writing for social, editing longer content pieces, or crafting compelling DM copy.

With many projects on the go at once, you’ll also need to be a multi-tasking, always-on-top-of-things type, with eagle-eyed attention to detail. But most importantly you’ll need to be a natural collaborator, as you’ll be working closely with other creatives and account management to deliver work that wows - on-time, on-brand and on-brief.

Ideally you’ll have 2+ years experience, but most importantly, you’ll have a strong creative drive and the portfolio to prove it, evidencing how your skills flex across various formats.
- Collaborating with other writers, art directors, designers and motion designers to develop high-impact advertising campaign concepts, copy, headlines and narratives
- Demonstrate a fresh thinking and ideas
- Craft engaging, persuasive copy both long and short form
- Great attention to detail and proofing;
- The ability to work to TOV guidelines as well as forging your own.
- Managing varied workload with tight deadlines, while refusing to compromise on quality
- Presenting creative work and concepts internally

Who we’re looking for:

- A creative mind buzzing with ideas.
- 2+ years experience with fire in your belly to learn and develop.
- A strong ideas driven portfolio showcasing different formats and media.
- Experience and understanding of working in advertising.
- Great time management skills.
- An eye for detail.
- A passion for writing.

Salary to £35,000 depending on skills/experience/portfolio. Great benefits, room for progression, structured support/training and much more.
