**Activities of the team/department that this role will operate in;**
**Winter driver - supply gritting services for Ringway on behalf of Surrey County Council. Driver will be expected to remain on call as part of a rota thourhg the entire winter season (Oct-April). The driver will be notified of a gritting run as and when required**

**Purpose of the role and your responsibilities;**
**Winter driver**

**Formal qualifications required;**
**Minimum - HGV class C**
**Desirable - NVQ in winter maintenance**

**Skills, Experience & Knowledge required;**
**Class C licence**

**Personal qualities;**
**Hard worker and willing to carry out necessary tasks to ensure the safety of the road users within Surrey**
