**Role**:

- **Senior CE&I Designer**
- **Contract until end of March 2024**:

- **Inside IR35**:

- **Role Location: Albion Square, Whitehaven (3 days a week), Cumbria**

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Project Description: Providing technical support and multi-discipline design activities for the Analytical & Active Area Services project.
- Delivering CE&I detailed design deliverables and meeting key program milestones.
- Producing and checking design drawings and documentation.
- Accountable for quality documentation, drawings, and project deliverables.
- Plant configuration walk downs and design scheme development.
- Attending design reviews and supporting the RE (Responsible Engineer) in presenting design documentation.
- Guiding and mentoring CE&I Design Apprentices.

**Essential Experience & Qualifications**:

- Degree in relevant engineering discipline with at least 2 years design delivery experience OR other qualifications (BTEC, HNC, HND) with 5-8 years design delivery experience.
- Ability to demonstrate SQEP (Suitably Qualified and Experienced Person)
- Competent and proven CE&I design engineer, capable of producing designs, schemes, drawings, and supporting calculations.
- Understanding of CDM (Construction Design and Management) regulations.
- Previous experience producing design packages suitable for manufacturing and installation.
- Knowledge of the Sellafield Ltd Management System (SLMS).

**Desirable Experience & Qualifications**:

- Design change and work approval course completion.
- Respirator fit test training.
- Access to Sellafield Ltd IT systems.

**Security Clearance Requirements**:

- Ability to obtain SC Clearance or above
- Ability to obtain P4 Pass

**Salary**: £50.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Moor Row: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Moor Row
