The successful postholder will work within our ambitious Communications Team responsible for all communications with the public, businesses and stakeholders, using digital channels and traditional print to reach our audiences. The team is close knit, dynamic and innovative, always looking for ways to maximise opportunities and will give you the confidence to lead, flourish and challenge the norm to deliver the best results we can.

**To be successful in this role you will need**:

- Flair and enthusiasm to deliver quality marketing campaigns to drive footfall to our district
- A good working knowledge of the role of Communications, PR and Marketing, using digital channels and video
- To work well collaboratively - with internal departments or local independent businesses, parish councils and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of best practice in PR Marketing and influencing behaviour change in audiences
- Experience of managing your own workloads and delivering to tight timescales.

Experience of working with influencers and delivering marketing campaigns is a key part of this role. If you have previous experience of using marketing techniques and plans to enhance a product or idea and influencing behaviour through storytelling and video, we would like to hear from you.

The role will be based at the Council Offices at Mill Lane, Wingerworth, S42 6NG with hybrid working options available. The role does require travel to local sites for filming, photography and interviews.
