**About us**

Pressure Design is a small business based in Goldthorpe, Rotherham. Established in 1974, we are primarily a manufacturer of hydraulic components, and fluid-power based machinery. Pressure Design offers a complete service ranging from the supply of single components through to the design and manufacture of entire systems. We have in-house capabilities for the design and manufacture of hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, manifold systems, electrical control panels (including software design and programming), hydraulic power units and special valves.

**Key responsibilities and duties**:

- Operating both manual and CNC machines including milling and turning.
- Reading, and interpreting engineering drawings to produce high quality parts.
- Inspecting finished parts to ensure they adhere to standards.
- Producing replica parts from existing samples.
- Maintaining a clean working environment and adhering to safe working practices.

**Desirable skills and experience**:

- Experience in programming of CNC using conversational Prototrak controls is desirable, although training is available.
- Previous experience in the hydraulics industry, including machining and repair of hydraulic cylinder parts.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with mínimal supervision but maintaining a good working relationship with colleagues.
- Experience with machine tool maintenance including coolant checks.
- Past experience on manual machines, or the willingness to learn new skills on manual machines (horizontal borers, manual lathes, and horizontal millers).

The role is based in Goldthorpe, Rotherham on-site at our workshop.

The working hours are:
**Mon-Thurs**: 0800-1630
**Fri**:0800-1500

**Salary**: £15.00-£17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.5 per week
