**Maintenance Technician**

**Ongoing Contract Role**

**Hull City Centre Location**

Adecco UK are looking for two maintenance technicians for a prestigious client within the ever-expanding sustainable energy sector in Hull, offering practical site-based work, salary negotiable dependent on experience.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- The safe and efficient operation of the Mechanical Pre-Treatment (MPT) plant.
- Ensuring the plant is operating within its design parameters.
- Ensure compliance with the company's Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems, Policies and Procedures.
- Assist in ensuring that the plant operates within the requirements of the Environmental Permit and all other statuary consents.
- Carrying out first line and routine maintenance duties.
- Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, whilst providing open and honest feedback.
- Undertake other duties including but not limited to training, and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.

**TO QUALIFY FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE**:

- Proven experience in operations/and or maintenance in a heavy process environment involving waste processing, shredding or conveying systems
- Excellent proven team-working skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Computer literate
- Existing right to work in the UK
- A willingness to learn and support others, a can-do attitude, and a self-starter
- An understanding of and commitment to safety culture and values
