**About the role**
Are you a dedicated Finance Professional seeking an exciting opportunity to utilise your skills in a dynamic and fast-moving environment? Look no further Humankind's Corporate Services is currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our team of 9 Finance Business Partner's.
- Humankind’s Corporate Services provide a range of functions which meet the needs of the organisation and ensure its effective operation - HR, Finance, IT, Marketing, Quality, MIS, Health & Safety. This exciting role will not only enable you to utilise your skills in a dynamic and fast moving environment, it will provide you with stimulating challenges and the opportunity of a self-motivated and committed Finance Team.
- Reporting into one of our Regional Finance Managers, you will provide strong financial support to an allocated region, including the preparation of monthly management accounts, supporting with budgets and providing financial analysis in a timely, accurate and consistent way. The post holder will support regional management teams with fulfilling their budgetary and financial management responsibilities, ensuring integrity of financial activities and financial records.**About you**
To be successful in this post you will have experience managing several budget holders in a multi transactional organisation. You will be confident building credible relationships, supporting our operational teams with regular contact and answering their financial queries.
- This is a hybrid position, where you will work three days in our head office per week.**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- Production of management accounts and other financial information:

- To produce and distribute accurate, timely monthly management accounts to budget holders, ensuring that appropriate finance support is provided to budget holders and operational staff. Producing a written reporting regarding overall performance of the region, highlighting and discussing any variances against budget.
- To produce other financial information as required by the Regional Finance Manager or budget holders.
- Ensure that all relevant control accounts are regularly reconciled and reconciling items cleared on a timely basis.
- To review on a monthly basis the management accounts and discuss any variances with the budget holders.
- To support the production of the annual audit file for external auditors and deal with queries raised by the external auditors.
- Completion and submitting of external commissioner returns

**Budgeting and Project Planning**:

- To support high quality budgetary control across the charity by producing robust annual budgets and reforecasts. This will involve regular review meetings with budget holders and relevant members of management team to review financial performance.
- To ensure that there is appropriate first line support and training to budget holders in the production of the annual budgets and reforecasts. Ensure that there is appropriate constructive challenge to ensure that budgets submitted are robust and reasonable.
- Ensure that budget holders are provided with appropriate financial analysis and guidance to undertake the annual budgeting exercise.
- Prepare an overall analysis of the proposed budget for review by Regional Finance Manager.
