**Project Planner**
James Frew Ltd is now one of the largest privately owned building services companies in Scotland, providing property solutions, including plumbing, heating, mechanical services, gas maintenance, and building upgrades for the public and private sectors. Based in Stevenston Ayrshire, Glasgow and Airdrie, we directly employ over 410 people including 56 apprentices.
We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Project Planner to join our forward-thinking team to help deliver our strategic priorities. This position is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced organisation committed to operational excellence.
As a Project Planner, you will collaborate with Site Managers and stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation. In addition, you will identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure project success, reporting all aspects to the Senior Commercial Manager.
- Will hold a minimum of three qualifications at a higher level or certification in leadership and/or project management.
- Have advanced IT skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages.
- Possess significant experience delivering Social Housing Contracts.
- Can produce clear and concise information that will assist senior management decision making.
- Have excellent communication skills with proven track record if stakeholder relationship management background.
- Be an excellent team-player and negotiator with effective communication skills and able to inspire people to maximise their life chances and opportunities.
- Be determined to succeed with a positive “can-do” attitude and able to engage with staff and stakeholders at all levels.
**Project Planner will be responsible for**:
- Liaising with Managers where required to efficiently coordinate and allocate resources efficiently.
- Ensuring that resource allocation aligns with project priorities and timelines.
- Identifying critical paths for the project and work packages, ensuring potential delays to critical activities are identified and mitigated.
- Regularly track progress and report to internal and external stakeholders effectively, attending meetings where required to deliver outcomes.
- To prepare delivery tracking reports for senior managers as required.
- To act as a liaison between Managers, Business Development Manager and Head of Operations to maintain project goals.
- To support delivery teams to improve competitiveness, boost productivity and deliver operational excellence across all aspects of the organisation whilst promoting the “James Frew way”.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £32,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
