The full-time Coordinator, Theatre and Digital Production works in collaboration with Community Programming and College Events in the Foundation Department, as well as the Marketing, PR, & Creative Services Department. The Coordinator assists in the operation of the Kevin & Sima Zlock Performing Arts Center and other college spaces. Additionally, the Coordinator will use multi-media tools and platforms to produce and edit high-quality, multi-media assets that can be distributed through a variety of digital outlets to increase visibility of Bucks County Community College.

Major job responsibilities include general event set-up, audio and lighting set-up, as well as audio engineering. Event operations and break-down are required. This position will provide specific technical assistance and will work with rentals and acts to provide general show/event services as needed. The Coordinator will work with Marketing, PR, and Creative Services to develop creative solutions for publicizing and celebrating college and foundation initiatives through audio-visual assets. This includes composing communication concepts, coordinating and creating pre-and post-production activities, editing, and producing high-quality digital content. This role will also capture photo and video assets at pre-determined college events and activities throughout the year.

Administrative duties may also be required such as logistics for internal and external facilities rentals, as well as pre-and post-production activities. Works with departments across the college’s three campuses on special projects and requests. Professional customer service and a proactive work ethic will complement this position. May work evenings or weekend hours in order to complete assignments.

Requires a Pre-Placement Physical.

Salary Range: $49,144 - $62,748 (commensurate with experience)

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-3 years theatre/performing arts center and photo/video experience.
- Experience in design and set-up of audio equipment including dual-channel power amplifiers, multi-channel audio consoles, up-stream processing, multi-channel audio snakes, main and monitor cabinets, multi-channel audio mixing consoles and theater management etiquette.
- Knowledgeable in the safe and correct set-up and operation of professional lighting, accurate programming of 16-channel DMX moveable lighting, audio equipment, including scenery flats, winch pipes and stage traps, genies/sky lifts.
- Ability to safely operate video and sound recording equipment, and editing equipment software, including troubleshooting and minor repairs as necessary.
- Ability to write and compose scripts and storyboards; identifies and clarifies communication concepts, scope, theme, audio and visual elements, budget, timeline, and priorities; produces, edits and distributes media content as required which may include photographs, motion pictures, motion graphics, animation, audio and music.
- Ability to effectively use interpersonal and communications skills and be able to manage time/priorities and multi-task to handle performances, rentals, and both long and short term projects.
- Possess the leadership abilities along with organizational and management skills necessary to control and guide the actions of internal and visiting production/rental personnel and attendees and interacting with students and college leadership.
