Cmm Programmer

The Recruitment Group is looking for an experienced CMM Programmer for our client in the manufacturing area of Syston.
We need a CMM programmer inspector with experience working in the automotive industry to join a very fast paced environment machine shop.
- Experience with Mitutoyo CMM measuring.
- Experience of programming MCOSMOS & PCDIMS software.
- Offline PCDIMIS programming.
- Understanding ASME standards & GD&T (geometric dimensioning & tolerancing).
- Update & optimization of current CMM programs.
- Ensure that robust inspection practices & techniques are employed in an efficient manner for all customer products.
- Ability to perform inspection activities (both dimensional & visual).
- Creating ISIR & FAIR reports.
- Experience working in an IATF 16949:2016 environment.
- Experience of using a range of measuring equipment, Bowers, height gauges, micrometers, attribute gauges.
- Understanding and interpretation of customer specifications engineering drawings.
- A good knowledge of casting & machining processes.
- Manage first off activities and associated tooling corrections.
- Experience in Millipore - but not essential.
- Undertake capability & MSA studies.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work alone or within a team.
