**We are looking for an enthusiastic Pits & Environmental individual to join our Sutton Bridge team.**

At our Production site based in Sutton Bridge, Lincolnshire, we are looking for a friendly, team player who can exceed in their duties to help us retain our position as a leading fresh produce supplier in the UK. We’re dedicated to using the very best of sustainable farming techniques in our own farming and collaborating with other expert farmers. We grow the finest quality potatoes, root vegetables which we pack ourselves to supply to our customers.

You will join us on a full-time permanent contract.

The shift pattern will be 4on - 4off, 06:00am to 18:00pm

**Your key responsibilities will be**:

- To maintain a safe working environment, and ensure that you tidy as you go
- Ensure all efforts are made to achieve continuous production
- Maintain water removal by checking pump in at the correct level and moving soil by means of the hose pipe
- Regularly check all riverside pumps are working correctly and adjust level as required
- Clean under wash lines and clean filters and Destoners
- Sweep walkways and clean with floor scrubber as required
- Mend 5 a day of the broken boxes and record on the Broken box sheet and hand to Shift Manager each day
- Ensure all departments are kept clear of recyclable material and waste
- All recyclable material is segregated accordingly i.e., plastics, cardboard, baled and stored awaiting collection
- Reporting of faults to recycling and waste disposal equipment to Engineering
- Ensuring sufficient stocks of recycling consumables are maintained i.e., bin liners, strapping for bales etc
- Carry out, as required such other duties as may be necessary to efficiently run the business

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
