**Hours**:Monday - Friday - Between 8am - 5:30pm**

**This is the job**:
Are you customer service driven with proven credit hire experience? As a Credit Hire Handler, you will be required to manage a portfolio of credit hire claims from notification stage all the way through to settlement.

**What will I be doing?**:
With each new claim, you’ll carry out investigations into liability and indemnity, collecting evidence of the incident to help you decide the best course of action. Where a settlement is owed, you’ll pick up with a range of external providers, including credit hire organisations, third party insurers and solicitors to negotiate the settlement.
- Establishing the AA’s liability and indemnity position on all claims by undergoing thorough investigations
- Updating the claims system with clear and concise notes
- Avoiding justified litigation by competently dealing with personal case load and assisting colleagues when required
- Identifying third-party representative trends and tactics and use initiative to counter these therefore minimising indemnity spend.
- Supporting with cost, service, and process efficiency projects across the team

**What do I need?**:
You’ll already know about insurance, liability, and indemnity, and may have worked in a similar credit hire role. As a confident communicator, you’ll be able to negotiate with third party organisations and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in motor insurance preferably in credit hire or liabilities
- Experience working to GTA Guidelines
- Be able to prioritise workload effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
