We believe in our food, and we know that our people behind the scenes are so very important in our success and the Transport team forms an essential part of the depot in delivering the right products to our customers on time.

You will be responsible for the delivery of sub supply and other goods to sister depots to fulfil and satisfy customers’ orders in a timely and professional manner, as well as collecting product for onward delivery to other sites at night.

Your responsibility will be the delivery, collection, loading and unloading products within Food Safety standards to the correct location and delivery order as instructed. Liaising with site representatives to complete delivery and collection documentation and ensuring load and vehicle security forms part of this role. You will be required to complete all routine vehicle checks, maintain your vehicle’s cleanliness and report vehicle damage.

You will require a driving qualification of HGV Class 2, which will be clean. Ideally, you will have experience of working in a similar role; have a good awareness of health and safety policy and procedures, with a good health and safety record. The ability and desire to work at night, a flexible approach, good attendance record, strong communication skills, and an excellent accident free driving record are required. You will be expected to attend training and other meetings that may be held during the day from time to time.

You'll also be required to work 48 hours per week, ideally Sunday to Thursday, starting some time between 16:30 and 19:00.
