Grounds Person

An exciting vacancy has arisen for a driven and dynamic Grounds Person with garden maintenance experience, keen to continue to develop their gardening skills on a historic, 400 acre private estate in Surrey. The beautiful 25 acre garden is made up of herbaceous and mixed borders with a vast array of ornamental species including a Mediterranean garden and a prairie border, Italian garden, kitchen garden, lawns, wildflower meadows and woodland areas.
Applicants for this role will ideally have either experience working in a private estate garden or hold a horticultural qualification (NVQ or similar) or both. We also believe in providing professional development opportunities to employees in the early stages of their career who demonstrate the right attitude and commitment.
**Shift Pattern**:
Working hours are Monday to Friday 7am - 3.30pm with some variation depending upon the season. Salary is based on experience.
**Salary**: £27,000 depending on qualifications and experience
**Applicants will ideally have a full driving licence and own transport.**
