**About the role**: The Department of Cardiovascular Sciences are looking to appoint a Senior Statistician to deliver statistical leadership within the Cardiac Surgery Research Group. This exciting new role will involve providing specialist statistical analyses in large routinely collected datasets, established Bioresources (e.g. UK Biobank, 100,00 Genomes), and clinical trials, as well as supervising doctoral and post-doctoral researchers within the group.
**About you**: As a Senior Statistician you will have a Higher degree or significant relevant experience in the biostatistics, medical statistics or applied statistics field. Alongside your extensive experience, you should be an excellent communicator who will be able to work autonomously and independently to lead own goals and tasks, as well successfully manage staff, resources and research programmes.
