Partridge of Hampshire are looking for a self-motivated people-person to join our team in Chandlers Ford.

**Who are we?**

Partridge of Hampshire is a family run, independent retailer representing both BMW and MINI across Hampshire. With our ‘hands on’ Managing Director, Toby Partridge, leading the way we are fast becoming the name for BMW and MINI across the region. Having spent 25 years working with BMW, Toby is passionate about the brand and is building a team around him who feel the same.

**What is the role?**
Working on BMW & MINI vehicles. Prepping them up ready for paint, which includes (masking, sanding paintwork, minor filler work). This will be based around a smart repair process. We will require you to have some form of understanding for paintwork and masking. You will need to be able to drive the vehicles in and out of the workshop. It is an exciting opportunity to be able to expand your skills or learn a new area. You will be teamed up with the painters and learning as much as possible from them but also to bring a great attitude to learning.

**Role responsibilities - including but not limited to**:

- Prepping up the vehicle for paint (Masking, sanding paintwork, minor filler work)
- Repairs and maintenance required to bring to the BMW Standard
- Being an active listener & learner
- Carry out tasks as required from the painter
- Driving vehicles in and out of the workshop
- Provide the very highest levels of quality repairs in line with Manufacturers repair methods and warranty requirements

- You must have confident and professional communication skills
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, whilst recognising individual responsibility also have strong team working skills to contribute to the performance and success of the department
- You will have a passion for customer service, a process orientated approach and be well-presented
- Maintaining thorough product knowledge and updating your knowledge through manufacturer led training
- A full UK Driving Licence
- We will also expect you to be a team player who is willing to go the extra mile
- We also expect you to be an active listener & learner
- Have a great work ethic
- Have a good time management

**Your experience**
- You will have some form of understanding and experience in paint prepping
- You will have at least 2 year with working in a main dealer Bodyshop or a smart repairer role

Full UK Driving Licence essential
