Skills and Requirements for Youth Support Worker
- Interest in Youth work, Education, or care
- Individuals with an interest in specialised in psychology, special needs, or social and emotional mental health are desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with families, carers and a multidisciplinary team of teaching staff and caseworkers.
- You will be organised, patient and confident, with a sound understanding of the key issues currently affecting young people.

You will be fully supported by a mentor and attentive leadership team, encouraged to undertake qualifications that will help you further your career, and be rewarded for the positive impact that you make.

To be considered for this role, you will undertake a full reference check and be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
