Help keep Greenwich clean and green - kick start your career with a role in Street Services in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

Street Services provides a highly important service to all the borough’s residents and visitors from sweeping roads to collecting and emptying household and businesses waste bins. This is a vital front-line service and has a huge impact on residents and the community. This advert is for the following opportunity.

The working hours are 35 hours per week, plus 6 hours contractual overtime per week, Monday to Friday with hours ranging from 6.00am to 8.00pm.

There will also be opportunities to work overtime outside of regular working hours. You will also be expected to be available for call out for which an additional payment will be made. You will also be paid for any hours worked as a result of being called out. Full training will be given. You will be dealing with members of the public and a positive approach to customer care is essential.
