**About the Solutions Architect role**:
The **Solution Architect** is accountable for ensuring that our technology solutions are designed and implemented according to Enterprise Architecture Requirements, Business Requirements, and IT Development Standards.

You will play a key role in designing end to end technology solutions and supporting the development teams throughout the SLDC.

You will have a specialism in Salesforce technology, be experienced in providing design documentation, reviewing and contributing to ICD’s, IT governance and Standards. You will work on a small number of projects or initiatives at any one time.

As a Trailblazer, you will have a passion for Salesforce, and will be expected to keep on top of product enhancements announced by Salesforce via their Release Notes and announced at events.

This role would be ideal for individuals who hold, or who wish to progress towards, the Technical Architect certification, we will support your continued Salesforce growth.

**Your responsibilities as our Solutions Architect will include**:

- Owns, creates and maintains system-level Solution Design documentation and seeks relevant sign off from appropriate governance forums
- Is the SME for technology changes in order to provide estimates for new projects or product enhancements
- Drives the technical backlog with the Development team to assure technical debt is actively identified and removed
- Contributes to developing, maintaining and publishing of principles, standards, guidelines and processes at CADS
- Contributes to Design standards and Patterns and forms part of the governing body of EADA
- Assists in Incident/Problem management, Root Cause Analysis and definition of solutions
- Works closely with the development team(s) - encouraging continuous improvement in the development, build, test and maintenance of the system
- utilise existing technologies such as Sitecore, Kubernetes, Kafka, Salesforce Service Cloud and custom-built java

**What we’re looking for in our Solutions Architect**:
**Essential**
- Demonstrable experience working as a Solution Architect using a range of different technologies (ideally including Java/JEE(JBoss),.NET, Integration platforms, Microservices and including both web, mobile and back office delivered both to cloud and internaldatacentre
- Specialism in Salesforce - demonstrable through prior experience and a range of salesforce certifications
- Demonstrable skills in the creation, maintenance and distribution of clear and effective design documentation, including experience in design notation (e.g. ArchiMate, C4, etc.)
- Demonstrable experience with industry standard design frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
- Multi-task and prioritise across several projects and initiatives.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented individual with the ability to take ownership of the task assigned
