Daily Nanny

**Job Summary**: These lovely first-time parents are looking for a nanny to start in September. Mum will be going back to work full time in January but will start part time for the rest of the year so there is a little flexibility in hours. They want to find the best nanny for their little boy and are happy to accommodate a full-time schedule straight away if needed. The parents are keen to find a nanny who is proactive with finding classes and is confident in all the early stages of development. The family have an adorable vizsla dog and hypoallergenic cat, no pet care will be required, they also employ a cleaner and a Gardner. As this is their first baby mum wants to have an open line of communication and someone who will support and guide them, they consider the nanny to be an extension of their family.

**General duties**:

- Sole charge care
- Plan fun and varied activities, including attending local classes.
- Supporting and encouraging the baby to hit the developmental milestones in the early years.
- Preparing bottles and food
- All housekeeping relating to the baby
- laundry, organising toys, keeping the play areas and nursery clean and tidy.
- Travel on one of 2 holidays a year (no more than 2 weeks a year)
- Ideally baby sit on occasion but this is not essential.
- This lovely family are looking for a nanny who is experienced, loving, kind, warm, patient and will support them. It is important that you love working with babies and be committed and passionate about seeing them develop into happy, confident children and meet milestones.
- Must have good English and strong communication skills.
- There is no requirement to help with pet care, but you must be ok working in a home with pets.
- Confident to proxy parent for short periods and happy to travel with the family for 1/2 weeks per year.
- Recent baby experience is essential.
- A driver would be a bonus but is not essential.
