**Job Elements**
- Shift based role working mornings (6-2) and afternoons (2-10)
- Sampling of packaging materials and components.
- Testing of packaging materials and components against approved specifications, using test equipment and techniques as specified
- Maintain accurate records of work, carry out and follow written procedures.
- Reporting of results to facilitate material disposition
- To carry out tasks as required to suit business needs and department needs and as appropriate to the job role
- Ideally qualified to GCSE level in mathematics and/or science.
- Must be competent in basic mathematical manipulations and have an understanding of science.
- It is essential that the job holder is diligent in their work, with an eye for detail.
- Capable of understanding and working to regulated work processes.
